Cookies on Valentine’s Day?
It’s that easy.
Please tell us about Pamela Wasabi.
“I have a wholesale line of plant based baked goods. My approach to my baking is to achieve perfection in this realm without the need of wheat, gluten, eggs or dairy. There is no “taste like a vegan cookie” statement acceptable when it comes to my food.
Because the main ingredients for traditional baking are absent in my cooking, it doesn’t mean they are still needed in mine. By creating my recipes from scratch, and thus studying traditional ways of working and achieving perfect baking, I’m very proud to have to created baked goods that can be enjoyable by anyone. Everyone can enjoy of my food either if you have a health condition, allergy restriction, or simply looking to nourish your sweet heart.
I also have a background in holistic nutrition, and psychology of eating, so before even creating a recipe my mind is in a different perspective and I have a different vision of what I want to achieve with my food. I don’t count calories, sugar grams, or label my food as “free this” and “free that”, because my approach is to invite everyone to relate to food in an intuitive way, instead of blindly trusting labels, we should be able to recognize wholesome ingredients and quality and have those be the standards for our food choices. My background helps me shift from a restricted cooking recipe, to an overload of beautiful ingredients and wholesome recipes that simply provide nourishing qualities.
I’m very happy to have made out of a hobby a full-on business that’s focused on community, food education, and culture. –Artist must be business minds too!
I’m also a published author to book, “Nourished, The Plant Based Path to Health and Happiness” which talks about our relationship with food, subject which I love speaking about during my workshops and presentations in Miami.”
